The E-mini Russell 2000 futures contract is one-fifth the size of its
standard counterpart; it trades exclusively on the CME (Chicago Mercantile
Exchange) electronic trading system. These e-mini futures contracts are an
affordable way to trade the Russell 2000 Index, a key benchmark for 2,000
small-capitalization U.S. stocks traded on the New York Stock Exchange, the
American Stock Exchange, as well as on The NASDAQ Stock Market.
E-mini Russell 2000 futures contracts are one of the latest addition to the
CME E-mini stock index complex. They quickly became one of the most popular
and liquid e-mini futures contracts.
